Cindy is a 47 year old wife of Michael Yocum.. They will be married 26 years in August..  They have 2 children, William and Ashleigh.  Cindy was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She has worked so hard for everything she has gotten. She was working as a high school counselor when she felt the Lord calling her to go to RN school. It seemed crazy but she knew it was the Lord. So, she quit her job and went back to school again. She put all she had into becoming a nurse. She graduated and was excited about her new path. Unfortunately, a week before she was supposed to start her new job as a nurse, she was diagnosed. Cindy will have surgery Monday morning.. After her surgery, she will start chemotherapy. Her health insurance will only cover a very small part of her expenses. Because of the severity of her cancer, everything from the diagnosis to the surgery has happened within the time span of a week. . Any help you can give will be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. We know the Lord has a plan for everything.  We are praying for total healing and that we will be stronger in our faith at the end of this.
