Medical Expenses For Chavante Flakes

On New Years Day 2020 Chavante Flakes was severely injured due to a misstep while attempting to help a friend causing him to fall to the level below landing on his ankle. The fall caused his tibia and fibula to completely shatter, tore multiple ligaments, and required full reconstructive surgery leaving him with 6 metal pins and 2 metal plates in his ankle permanently. As an entrepreneur putting everything into building his company for the past three years while simultaneously working a job this injury has almost entirely taken away his ability to maintain his livelihood. The out of pocket cost for surgery is $7,500 and basic living expenses are adding up quickly. Not able to physically perform his duties he was laid off and without that income it’s incredibly hard to make the ends meet. For someone so independent it’s even harder sometimes to ask for help but any support given would be appreciated more than you can imagine and will go a long way towards getting Tae through this terribly tough time so he can pay it forward to others in need.
