Medical Expenses for Carlos Gomez

Carlos and I traveled to San Antonio to spend New Years with his family. The whole family went dancing at a local bar the night before NYE when an argument led to a shooting. Carlos was not involved in that argument but was shot several times and rushed to the emergency room where he underwent 2 operations that lasted over 10 hours. He was shot in the left knee, right thigh, left arm that needed a plate and screws, several shots to his side/backside and the most damaging were to his abdomen. They cut and repaired his small intestine in several places and now has a temporary colostomy bag. After a week, his abdominal incision wasn't healing properly so a 2nd operation was performed and they discovered a tear in his small intestine and a 2nd colostomy bag was needed.

We are still at the hospital in San Antonio without an idea of when he'll be discharged and able to go back home to Vegas.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Funds will be used for his medical expenses, transportation back home and/or equipment that may be needed for him around the house.
