Our dear friend Brad Hilker was in a head-on collision on Saturday night, February 9th. He lost his dog Scout, beloved best friend of 12 years and his truck was totaled. We were relieved to hear that Brad survived, but with broken ribs and a badly fractured ankle. He will need surgery to repair it this week, just as he was due to start a new job on Monday. Now he has no vehicle and won't be able to work for some time, possibly months. Like all of us, he has bills to pay, and like many of us he has no medical insurance.Brad has a long recovery ahead of him. Any amount of money to alleviate the stress of medical bills and being out of work will have an immense impact and will be earnestly appreciated.
We all know Brad as an incredible friend, a kind, generous, and adventurous soul, a lover of the outdoors and an active cross country skier and mountain bike rider. We are asking friends and community for their support during this unexpected and difficult time. Let's get him back on his feet as soon as possible.
