Medical Expenses for Blake Lewis

Late afternoon Friday, my nephew Blake Lewis was in a terrible accident that crushed his midsection. He was rushed to Tacoma General with multiple broken bones and internal bleeding. In order to airlift him to Harborview, the trauma team needed to get the internal bleeding under control.  He was given several transfusions and had a procedure performed to stop/slow the internal bleeding so that he could be airlifted. Late last night, he was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center where he was to undergo surgery to try to repair his pelvis, hip and femur. The surgeons on staff decided to bring in their "A" team to do the surgery, which will take place either Monday or Tuesday. The "A" team solely specializes in pelvic reconstruction, so he will have the best of the best hands working on him.  They are hoping to do one surgery for the repairs, but it could very likely take several. His femur is broken, his pelvis is broken in three spots, and the joints of his hips are broken into several pieces. Thankfully his organs and spine are all okay. He did not have feeling in/of his right leg and foot last night but has since regained feeling in his leg and started to regain feeling in his foot. He is currently on heavy pain meds, and his legs are being held in place by rods. He has a very long road to recovery ahead of him which is going to be quite costly. If you are able to help in any way, it is very much appreciated. 

Due to covid restrictions, only two people are allowed to see him each day. This of course, will be Brent, Jenn and Carson. We are asking for prayers for  Blake, the family, and surgeons performing his surgery.  It has been a very rough 24 hours to say the least.
