Hi everyone,

 

I am reaching out for help on behalf of my dear friend and mentor, Jim Reilley. For those of you who don't know Jim, he is a wonderfully talented musician, songwriter, producer, and A&R extraordinaire. I met Jim in the fall of 2012 to interview him for a music business class I was taking, and little did I know that he would inspire me to song write, perform, and eventually enter the music industry. He has a beautiful capability to listen and see the best in people, and I know that he's touched the lives of many other artists and probably anyone who has sat down to have a coffee chat with him.

 

A couple of weeks ago, Jim's heart stopped for over 3 minutes, causing many potentially damaging issues to his body including kidney failure. This is his second near-death experience within the last two years. While we are all so grateful that he is alive, this will be a long road to recovery for him, and there will be a lot of medical bills in conjunction with that, especially within these next few months.

 

I know that Jim has helped so many members of our music community, and I hope we can do the same for him.
