This page is being set up to help offset the mounting medical expenses for our granddaughter, Bella Grace Clayton. Bella is a beautiful, active 13 year old who plays TFC soccer, high school soccer and cheers for the Amory Middle School panthers.

In November, 2022, during a routine exam, a tumor was found in Bella’s bladder. The next week she was at Le Bonheur having it removed. After the removal and testing, St Jude was called in. It was cancer. They were able to remove the tumor with clear margins, but Bella has to continue scans and biopsies every few months to make sure it has not come back in her bladder or spread to her lungs. During recent scans it has been found that Bella also has a pituitary tumor, ocular tumor, a lesion on her kidney and an AVM(ateriovenous malformation) on the occipital lobe of her brain. Due to medical necessity, specialists, and special equipment needed to care for Bella, she is now a patient at St Jude, LeBonheur, and Semmes Murphey Brain and Spine. While St Jude will never bill them, the other two places do. And they are not in network with their insurance. A cerebral angiogram was just performed to gather more information about the AVM so that a treatment plan can be determined. There are more appointments for scans, biopsies, tests and labs on the horizon. That means more missed work, extra gas for traveling to Memphis and back, meals, copays, and out of pocket expenses that are rising by the day. This account is to help with these costs.

Again, we, their family, want to thank you for the love that has already been shown to Bella and her family. The prayers have given us all strength and we’ve felt the peace that has come through those prayers.
