Medical Expenses for Beau Williams

Our dear friend Beau Williams was diagnosed April 2022 with Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. He had surgery to remove the mass on his right temporal lobe last April and came out of the surgery strong. His neurosurgeon couldn't believe how quickly he was able to go home to recover from his craniotomy and said he was the first person in Idaho to go home the DAY OF his surgery!! Beau was always really proud of this! :)

True to form, Beau has been fighting his cancer with strength, cheer, optimism and love for his family. Since last May, he's gone through rigorous treatments of radiation and chemotherapy and has more recently worn a contraption called an “Optune” to fight the cancer and keep it at bay. Throughout his fight, he's continued to work, spend time with his family and friends, and has kept his bright-eyed cheer and optimism.

In the last month, things have changed. His Boise oncologist detected that the brain cancer had returned. To explore all of their treatment options, Beau and his wife Ronda reached out to the University of Utah to see doctors at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City.

On April 3, 2023, they learned that the cancer had returned. The cancer has now moved to his central nervous system including multiple locations in the spine and brain.

The oncologist has recommended radiation and immunotherapy as a last resort treatment. But Beau's insurance has denied the immunotherapy treatment claim and treatment and travel costs are growing. Immunotherapy cost $11,000 every 3 weeks.

We want to help Beau in his fight. Please help us raise funds so that he can travel to Salt Lake City and complete his treatments without adding to the burden of medical bills and travel costs during this very tough time for his wife and kids.
