Medical Expenses for Special Agent/Ofc. Roy Garcia

Imagine spending your entire life protecting the lives of others, but when your life is on the line, you're left out in the cold. For nearly 50 years, Roy Garcia has been serving and protecting the people of Illinois and the United States as a State Police officer, Homeland Security director and a security director for universities. He's put his life on the line countless times for others, and now I am asking if you can help out while his life is on the line once again.
Roy is currently battling congenital liver disease and is in desperate need of a liver transplant. While awaiting a transplant, he must undergo a medical maintenance program to stabilize his condition. As the liver deteriorates, more and more treatment is needed, causing medical expenses to skyrocket. In spite of his years of public service to the State of Illinois and against the diagnoses of doctors, a pension review board denied disability benefits and coverage citing the disease as a preexisting condition.
So my ask is $1, $5, a share on Facebook to help spread the word. Anything you are comfortable with to help raise funds to cover the ever-growing medical expenses for my Uncle Roy.
