Medical Expenses for Baby Jaxon – Your Help Matters
Donation protected
Help support the McKay family from Wabush, Labrador. Their beautiful baby boy, Jaxon McKay, was born on September 18, 2024, with a cleft lip and palate. His journey has been remarkable, but it hasn’t been without challenges.
Before Jaxon’s birth, his mom, had to travel regularly to St. John’s for high-risk pregnancy care. Now, Jaxon requires specialized treatments, including a Nasoalveolar Molding (NAM) device, which helps prepare him for life-changing surgeries. These appointments and fittings must be done in St. John’s, and his mom travels weekly with Jaxon, enduring the financial strain of return flights, lodging, and meals.
While some expenses are covered by provincial programs, many are not. This has created a financial burden no family should face alone. Jaxon’s first surgery is planned for early next year, and many more will follow as he grows.
We’re asking for your help to ease this burden on the McKay Family. Your support can make a tremendous difference in their lives and allow them to focus on Jaxon’s health and happiness.
Please consider donating to help with their travel, accommodations, and other expenses. Every bit helps and is deeply appreciated.
