Hello everyone! This GoFundMe page is to support my sister, Audrey Rose, and her husband, Nikko, as they go through a very challenging and heartbreaking situation.

A little backstory: the two have been together for nine years. It was after their first year of marriage and medical checkups that they found out they could not create a family naturally. Since then, for eight years, they have been turning to fertility treatments to help them create their dream of becoming parents.

Audrey has endured multiple rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF), finding solace in Mexico where the financial strain of treatment is more bearable. Their unwavering dedication and financial commitments provided them with several opportunities to chase this dream, with over $60k invested solely in IVF procedures and medications.

Their perseverance bore fruit in their seventh IVF transfer, as Audrey Rose joyfully conceived twins, two precious baby girls. Yet, their elation was short-lived. During a routine anatomical scan at 20 weeks, Audrey Rose was diagnosed with a short cervix and premature dilation, necessitating urgent medical intervention.

She was advised to be on bed rest while waiting for the viability of the babies (a baby's lung is not developed until the 22nd or 23rd week), but those babies could just not wait a little longer. To add to that, her admission was complicated by hemorrhage and hypertension; she received multiple blood and clotting factor infusions and medication adjustments, which delayed her discharge.

My sister is the strongest person I've ever known. The eldest out of the four. Not only do we, as siblings, look up to her or run to her for help, but so does our extended family because of how responsible, trustworthy, strong, and kind-hearted a person she is. I also could not have asked for a better partner for my sister, as he is her rock and her greatest support system during this time.

They are both strong and good-hearted people, and they would without a doubt help other people in need. It is without their knowledge that I am knocking on anyone's heart to help these two.

I implore you to extend your kindness and generosity to Audrey Rose and Nikko. Though we cannot erase their pain or bring back their beloved princesses, we can ease their financial burden from the hospital bills and unexpected funeral.
