Hi, for those of you who don't know me, I am Samantha Rossi, daughter of Angela Kitowski or to some of you, Angel.

At the end of August 2021 my mom and her husband were visiting family in Chicago from her home in Arizona. Throughout her stay here she kept mentioning how she was not feeling well, which is very unnormal for her. She continued and pushed through her trip knowing deep down something was off. When they arrived back in Arizona my mom was rushed to the ER with excruciating stomach pain. Unfortunately her ER visit was made into a 5 day stay, running countless amounts of medical tests trying to figure out the problem. On one of the scans they ran they found a spot on her pancreas that was concerning to her doctors, after much investigation the doctors diagnosed my mom with pancreatic cancer. Cancer, WHAT?! She has always prioritized her health. For as long as I can remember she has always been conscious of what foods she eats, works out daily, and is very active. This news came very devastating to my entire family.

After four years of marriage, Angela and Ron moved to New River, Arizona. They were finally living the life she dreamed of. A husband who loved her unconditionally, a beautiful house in the mountains constantly surrounded by the sunshine. After retiring from the corporate world, she got a job working on a golf course. In all my years, I have never seen my mom so happy and at peace with her life. Everything she truly deserves. Currently they don't have a strong support system in Arizona. Her incredible husband is waiting on her hand and foot and is always at her side.

Angela is an amazing mom, Nonna, friend, and confidant. Despite her trials and struggles, she has always been very thoughtful of others. She is a great example of persistence and working for what you want.

My hope is to raise enough money to help cover some medical expenses and help provide care and support with them living in a different state. Any support and prayers are whole heartily appreciated. Thank you and God Bless you.
