Dominick and Angela have been married for 27 years. Dominick was stationed at an Army base in Fort Hood when he got word from his Phi Beta Sigma grad chapter that the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta sorority needed a chaperone for a party near Huston-Tillotson University. The moment he laid eyes on Angela, he was smitten. They’ve been inseparable ever since that night.

I first met them early last year while campaigning for mayor. They immediately impressed me with their love for each other and commitment to service, hallmarks of my own relationship with my wife.
