My 18-year-old son, Andrew Natera, has been diagnosed with Membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis type 2 (Dense Deposit Disease), a rare kidney disease. The prognosis has unfortunately not been favorable and he has a long road ahead. His condition requires he sees specialists In Houston in addition to frequent testing and unique medications.
