The Dick family could use help due to the financial burden of living at the hospital for the last 4 months with their eldest daughter Alexus, who has SMA type 2. She has been in the ICU battling numerous life threatening illnesses due to her SMA. The family also has 2 young children at home. One of which also has SMA type 2. His name is Zane and he will be turning 9 the end of January. Their younger sister, Ava, is 7. Zane and Ava have been cared for by their grandmother, Debra Sturdivant who has been a saint given the situation. The family's only vehicle recently was completely totaled by a hit and run. They could use as much help as possible to help with Alexus' medical needs along with trying to help them acquire a vehicle for proper transportation needs.
