My name is Tammy and I am Scott's sister. Scott went to the ER sick and went home the day before Thanksgiving. Not getting better Cindy, his wife, brought him back in. He spent 2 more days in the ER and then was moved to the hospital in Crosby MN...He has a fever, bacterial meningitis along with rare fungal infections in his lungs. Due to the special meds for the fungal infections he can't be on blood thinners for his previous heart condition. Due to that he has had several strokes. He has now been moved to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth and 2 specialists for these rare fungal infections have been called to come to St. Mary's to try to help. His wife has not been allowed to see him yet due to how infectious he is. Scott and Cindy have been married for 25yrs and have 3 children, Calvin, Casey and Kylie. Scott is a kind, loving, hard working family man and loved by many. They reside in Mora MN. I have started this Go Fund Me to help with medical expenses, driving expenses, monthly bills etc. Please help this wonderful family if you are able and pray for Scott's wellness as well as the doctors and nurses caring for him and his wife, children and extended family.
