Colie’s fight

Hello! My name is Michele (Hudson) O’Neil. My beautiful niece, Nicole “Colie” Mignault Kelly was diagnosed with HER2 Stage 3 breast cancer a few days after her 30th birthday.

Colie began treatment at MGH in July; her treatment will be aggressive, including chemotherapy, surgery, and daily radiation.

She is currently employed as a Product Development Specialist for children’s clothing, a job she loves! She is equally loved by her coworkers, including Chloe who had this to say:

“Colie is such a lovely, caring, and creative soul. She always has a new witty cross stitch in the works in her magical craft room. Her funky rebel fashion sense (and ever matching eyeshadows) is oh-so-Colie. I still think about her sparkly Vegas wedding dress on a regular basis. Even her collection of stickers on her car shows her unique personality. She is a big reader and will always have a new book to recommend - or several!

Colie is an empathetic and supportive friend. She is so thoughtful, always putting her husband, family, or pups before herself. She is so selfless and I’m sure would never want to ask for help, but obviously these are extenuating circumstances. The burden of cost just adds insult to injury. I know that we can give her some help.”

In addition to Colie’s family and coworkers, her wonderful husband Mike and their 3 dogs have been at her side ever since her diagnosis.

Both will be out of work as Colie progresses through her treatment; any amount donated will be used for out-of-pocket medical expenses and their day to day living expenses.
