Hi, my name is Bengie Agtang. I'm 37 years old. I'm married and we have two kids; a 3 yrs old and a 7 years old. On may 3, 2018 I was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia lymphoma. After being in the hospital for almost a month receiving chemotherapy, I beat cancer. I was happy and ready to go back to my normal life. Early 2019 cancer was back for the 2nd time. Doctors were great and made a treatment plan which took approximately three months. Cancer was gone once again. In the middle of 2019 cancer was back for the 3rd time. My oncology refer me to UCSF. Once at UCSF I received chemotherapy and a bone marrow (T cell) transplant. The transplant was recommended base of the many relapse. I received the transplant on October 1, 2019. Everything went well as everyone expected. Throughout my first month recovering, I did not had any major health problem. Everything was going well until a routine checkup, one of my lab result was abnormal. After a CT scan and a biopsy; we found out cancer was back. (6 weeks after the transplant). The next option was experimental treatment. The out come of an experimental treatment is unsure as any other procedure. My aggressive cancer and T cell transplant where going to do any other treatment more complicated and may cause more side effects or other complications that I don't have as in right now. I did not went further with the experimental treatment because my chances of getting worse were higher than the chances of getting better. I only have months to live. So instead of spending the rest of my days in  bed going through  an experimental treatment away from my kids and the rest of my family; I decided  along with my wife to go back to the Philippines and take our kids with us hoping to  spend quality
time with my love ones since I haven't seen my parents and siblings in 9 years.

The reason why I'm reaching out for your help is because I will need to cover any medical  expenses while I'm in the Philippines since I'm not going to have health insurance. This wasn't an easy decision to make but I'm sure this is how I want to spend the rest of my days.

Thanks in advance and God bless you all.

I want to thank  every doctor, nurse, social worker, and every single person that was always there for us to help us in these difficult moments.
