Medical Expenses and Travel for Atticus Naylor

Since birth Atticus has had chronic hives. Hives that several Doctors, Dermatologists, Allergists, Immunologist, Rheumatologist and now Neurologist cannot explain. The hives apparently were only a visual concern. Internally there have been other chronic issues that have been hiding, such as joint swelling, and now the swelling on the brain. It is assumed that whatever is causing the chronic hives is also the cause of the joint and brain swelling. Basically these are all symptoms of an undiagnosed underlying autoimmune disease. We are at the point now where we will have to visit the eye doctor and neurologist monthly to maintain healthy pressure in Atticus' brain and preserve what eye sight he has left. This is on top of the rheumatologist and many other specialist that cannot provide answers but rather just a treatment for the symptoms, until the underlying cause is identified and treated. The direction that we are now being sent, is to pursue a diagnosis through one of the bigger centers located in Philadelphia, Boston, or Washington DC that specialize in rare autoimmune diseases. With this comes not only medical expenses, but travel expenses to get there. We need to get answers! Marcus nor I can continue watching Atticus suffer like he is now. Please help us to accomplish our goal!
