Hi everyone! I'm starting this fundraiser for my best friend, Cady, and her husband David Carter following the birth of their sweet girl, Emma Josephine. She was born 11 weeks prematurely following Cady having a medical emergency and needing to have an emergency C-section. Emma Jo was diagnosed with junctional tachycardia, a cardiac arrhythmia causing heart rates between 200-250 bpm, and sometimes up to 300 bpm.

While she has had the blessing of being transferred to Children's National in DC, this has come with a hefty cost. Cady and David are having to pay for housing following relocation to DC on top of their mortgage, care for their 2 year old son Mason, as well as all basic necessities. Any donations would be extremely helpful as Cady is on leave from work, as well as David being on emergency leave from his deployment, and we thank you so much for donations, as well as any and all prayers for them as they navigate this time.
