Hi, my name is Amy, I am asking for donations to help pay for my recent medical expenses and need for surgery. I am set to have surgery on December 27, 2022 and will be out of work for 6 week.

As many of you know I am not one to ask for anything, but times are hard and I will be needing assistance to make sure I can continue to pay for the medical bills that are expected, and monthly health insurance for myself and kids.

I am a LVN, who worked hard through the Covid pandemic. I caught Covid 19 in January 2022, the recovery process was hard. I felt horrible and had no energy for months, yet continued to drag myself out of bed to go help others in need. After months of putting myself on the back burner (6 months) and telling myself I would get better eventually. I went to the doctor and told her my symptoms, (severe shortness of breath, chest palpitations, severe fatigue) thinking this was long covid. After multiple test, I received a phone call stating I needed to get to the emergency room asap and get a blood transfusion because my hemoglobin was 6.6 (normal value 13-15). I went and received the transfusion and then more tests were ordered to find out where I was bleeding from. As I completed the battery of exams and tests over the following months, I was found to have a fibroid that was in my uterine wall the size of a lemon and that was the cause of me being severely anemic and feeling like death. I now have surgery to remove my uterus, so I can hopefully recover quickly and return back to work helping others.

I am asking for any donations to help aid in my recovery and to please share my story.

This was a very hard topic for me to put my story out there and ask for any help, as I am a fixer and hate asking for hand outs. With these trying times of paying for health insurance while I am not working, paying for the bills, medical bills mounting, I am reaching out for help.
