Medical Expenses And Recovery for Emily Bybee

Hi I’m Courtney Jeffcoat, Emily’s sister. Emily had a surgery for a cyst on her pancreas last Thursday, March 4th. After the procedure, Emily was supposed to be able to recover at home. Unfortunately, when she got home she had to go straight back to the hospital due to complications. Since then, Emily has suffered great pain causing her doctors to take her back for another surgery on Sunday morning. After this procedure, Emily was placed on a ventilator and put in the ICU. Today, Tuesday March 9th, although Emily has left the ICU she still remains in the hospital with an infection and is unable to tolerate eating which is hindering her from healing completely from surgery. 

I created this GoFundMe after we as a family have received overwhelming requests asking how to help Emily and Parker during this time. We appreciate all the support that we have received so far and are now adding this GoFundMe as an option for anyone who would like to donate directly to Emily and Parker. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers, and we will try to provide updates as they become available.
