Medical Expenses and possible surgery

Hello, my name is Ashley Jackson and if you’re reading this then you probably know me. Knowing me is also understanding that I rarely ever ask for help. But in this instance I am in dire need of help. For the past week, I’ve had extreme abdominal pain and occasional nausea that wakes me up at night. The pain has gotten so serious that I had to go to the Emergency Room on 9/7. At the emergency room I was simply looked over and was told “we don’t know what’s wrong with you.” I was sent home with no help and the pain still has not subsided.

On 9/11 I followed up with a doctor from my primary care group and it is believed that the symptoms I’m having are in relation to my gallbladder not functioning properly. The doctor ordered a specific scan that will be able to detect if my gallbladder is indeed functioning. However, this scan is not fully covered by my health insurance and the payment I must make up front at the hospital is over $3,000. Unfortunately, I do not have that kind of money laying around and I am afraid that I will not be able to get this scan done. I’ve also lost my job recently and I am unsure if I will be paid my last check timely. The results of this particular scan will also help to determine if I will need to be referred to a surgeon. If you are able to donate anything at all I would greatly appreciate it. I’m just trying to get to the bottom of this pain and could really use some help at this time.
