This beautiful and amazing 56-year-old Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, and Daughter was rushed to the Emergency Room on the morning of 03/18/2022 after experiencing difficulty in her breathing. After multiple tests and screenings throughout the day, the Doctor’s diagnosed her with renal failure. She was admitted to the hospital the same day. Over the course of the next few hours after being admitted, her doctors sent her for various tests, and determined her kidneys were functioning at 10% combined. She was then experiencing lung and breathing issues (non-covid related), extremely high blood pressure, and swelling in her abdomen and legs. The doctors placed her on high blood pressure medication, and she was then using a nebulizer every two hours. The next days, the doctors then inserted a catheter into her upper chest/shoulder area to begin dialysis. Biopsies of her kidneys were completed (57 tests were completed), and it was determined that the doctors were inconclusive of the reason her kidneys were failing. She has had 2 blood transfusions, several dialysis treatments, and was placed in the cardiovascular unit of the hospital attached to oxygen. The doctors told her that her kidneys are not functioning on their own, and that she will need a surgery to insert a catheter in her abdomen to receive dialysis for the rest of her life, and/or until she can receive a kidney transplant. She will need to obtain an in-home dialysis machine, and also an oxygen concentrator. She and her husband both have medical insurance, but the insurances will not pay 100% of the ongoing medical expenses. Assistance is needed to help pay for not only current medical expenses, but also future expenses. Any donations to this beautiful person would be greatly appreciated.
