On Monday June 21,2021 my partner and the father of my children was rushed to Temecula Valley Hospital where we found out he was having a Heart attack. The hospital then tried to perform a surgery putting a stent in his heart which failed. Joaquin underwent open heart surgery on Wednesday June 23,2021 where they went to perform a double bypass or what they call a “double cabbage” surgery. While on the operating table Joaquin’s surgeon called me stating that they in fact needed to perform a triple bypass. After 8 hours on the operating table

they successfully completed the heart surgery. As surgery went well, his recovery process was about to take a turn for the worst, his kidney’s started to fail and his breathing started to decline. They were thinking he was going to need to go back to being incubated and that he was going to need dialysis to help with the kidneys. Little did we know that Joaquin is a fighter! After a lot of medication, time, prayer, and multiple doctors input Joaquin made a turn for the better! His breathing started to get under control and his kidney’s started to make a turn for the better! He has stabilized and is on the road to make a full recovery. Joaquin is still in the ICU pushing through! He has a very long road to recovery! We are asking if everyone could please donate whatever they can even if it’s a dollar. Joaquin will be unemployed for quite awhile and we now have medical expenses and home care expenses that we were not planing on. Anything helps!
