Medical expenses and all that follow.
Doing this is something you never imagine actually having to make for your own family but sadly here we are. I am making this for my sisters and my niece. Sadie is a normal 12 year old! Plays with her 5 siblings, loves animals and babies even more! She can be shy but once she is comfortable she is a sassy, fun loving girl! Just before Thanksgiving she started to seem tired and had symptoms of a flu or bug and of course a nasal Covid test followed. That came back negative but the symptoms didn’t resolve. She would get nose bleeds which were believed to be from the test, she was losing weight and had no energy. A trip to beach just after Christmas and things were not getting better. Tuesday, January 5th, everything changed. Sadie went to her primary doctor and got blood work done. A call was received advising she was rushed to the ER because her blood work came back and the numbers were so off. She has already went through multiple blood transfusions, bone marrow biopsy and spinal tap and this is only day two. Sadie was diagnosed with leukemia, All of our hearts broke. Sadie has not batted an eye and has taken all this like a champ this far. She is so much stronger than we ever knew. Along with all of this, her mom had to shut down her daycare to be by her side, she also has 5 other siblings in their blended family. They would never ask and I don’t want them to. So if there is anything you can do to help; from donations, to meals and most importantly prayers! I will post updates on here as they come! ❤️
