Medical Expenses & Recovery for Kathy

On August 26th my oldest sister Kathy left work as usual, as she headed out the headache she had worked through started to intensify but just thought it may be a migraine even though she never experienced one. She figured she could get through it like other people do. Halfway home on the highway she got nauseous and called her oldest child Nick to say she didn't think she could make it home, she couldn't move her eyes right or left and her neck became extremely stiff, needless to say she miraculously made it home, but had no idea how she got there. She continued to have the severe headache and experienced dry heaving throughout the night as morning came she attempted to get ready for work and took a shower, while in the shower she couldn't raise her arms above her head to wash her hair, her head pain was still extremely severe she finally gave in and called her son and daughter at work that she no longer could tolerate the pain she needed to go to the hospital. She went to one hospital and they saw on a ct scan that she had a subarachnoid hemmorage and were not equipped to care for the bleeding in her brain so they transported her to a better hospital. The next hospital discovered she had an aneurysm that ruptured and caused the bleeding. The doctors and nurses have said continously that she is lucky to be alive. HERE IS THE THING ... what is horrible is she waited it all out because unfortunately she does not have medical coverage and she will need medications and a stent placed in her brain in about 4-6 weeks along with follow up care when she is able to go home. That fear of having bills for herself is what stopped her from just going to the hospital right away!
My sister Kathy has always worried about everyone else first and takes care of herself last. She has always worked hard to raise her two children making sure they are taken care of. She currently commutes to work that is about an hour and 45 minutes each way with traffic. I'm hoping to be able to lift some of the stresses that she will face when she is released from the hospital. The stress of paying bills, paying for medical coverage and prescriptions that are absolutely necessary to keep her on the mend.
