Medical Expenses & Archie Surgery

I have had to swallow a lot of pride by creating this fundraiser. However, my medical bills from my new diagnosis of epilepsy are tremendous and I still need testing, medications and help recovering from the numerous number of seizures and injuries that occur as a result of each seizure. We need help paying for the medical bills, expensive prescriptions that I desperately need to take everyday, childcare expenses because I am so afraid to have a seizure being alone with my baby, and future testing to hopefully figure out why this is happening to me. In the last couple days we just found out our dog has torn his other ACL. We love Archie as much as any of our family members and this little dog has been with us through all the hardships that have happened in the last year. We recently had to put our other dog, Leonard, down and we will do anything to help our Archie. This means asking for help. I am unable to work because of my diagnosis and my husband has been working so hard to support us both financially and emotionally (being home constantly helping me, taking on the burdens and stress, etc). Everyone who knows me understands my drive to work, I miss being a nurse and it is devastating to me to be unable to contribute to our family financially. So I am asking for help. I am swallowing my pride and asking for financial help to help pay our medical bills and help pay for the surgery my dog needs. Anything helps. I am so extremely thankful for all the words of strength and encouragement and no matter what has been thrown at us this year...we are still standing. I want to be healthy to raise my son and keep receiving the testing and medical attention needed to solve my case and live a happy, productive life. It is so hard for me to ask for help, but again, the medical attention I have needed and still need is so difficult for us to keep up with financially.
