On 11/01/2023 I was walking down Grand Street towards Pitt in the lower east side. I was outside a Jewish housing complex my friend lives in and I was waiting for them. A man walked by and asked if I was Jewish. I said yes not thinking anything of it and he immediately attacked me. He punched me in the face a few times then tripped and fell down giving me time to get away. My nose is broken and my face was bruised. Id never have thought being Jewish in nyc would lead to something like that. Thank you and anything is greatly appreciated.
