On July 8 Jon was admitted to the hospital due to his chronic health issues that he had been battling for the last 5 years in and out of the hospital. This time, it unfortunately led to July 22 when he was placed on comfort care. He lost the courageous fight against liver disease on August 1 at 3:55pm.

He has been surrounded by many loved ones the last few weeks with conversation and prayers, phone calls and messages. Jon and Robin’s four month old granddaughter, was brought in every day and always managed to bring a smile to his face and light in his eyes.

Jon enjoyed campfires and yard games with family and friends in their backyard. He always enjoyed hunting and fishing until his declining health began.
