Medical Expense Fundraiser for Tom Agosta

As some of you may know, Tom suffered from a stroke back in September. Since then, Tom has spent time in and out of the hospital and rehab facilities to try to recover. Due to his stroke Tom is now paralyzed on his right side. While he has made some progress, he can no longer work, walk, dedicate his time to his church, or play music and sing like he used to. Recently, it was determined by the insurance company that they are no longer going to cover inpatient rehabilitation services and they sent him home on Tuesday. The Agosta home is not wheelchair accessible and Tom still needs a lot of assistance on a daily basis. I am starting this campaign to raise awareness for a family close to me and our community. It is going to be a long road to recovery for Tom, but in order to make him more comfortable, he is going to need accommodations such as a ramp, stair chair, transportation, and home nursing staff. While the Agosta family continues to battle it out with the insurance company, it seems that a fundraiser may be the best place to start. Please consider donating to help Tom’s recovery.
