Medical expense help for Clint Hunter and family

Clint Hunter is a Detective with the Forest City Police Department, where he has been a beloved and honored Law Enforcement Official for nearly 16 years. Clint is supported by his loving wife Karla and their two children, Eli and Peyton. On December 14th their lives took a turn no one had expected. Clint, a seemingly healthy and active 39 year old Police Officer with no prior health concerns, suffered from an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm, a Dissected Aorta, with a  possibility he will be diagnosed with Marfan’s Syndrome, which is a genetic condition that affects the connective tissue, which in Clint’s case caused the dissection of the Aorta. He was not feeling well on Thursday with stroke and heart attack like symptoms and was rushed from Shelby Hospital to Carolinas HealthCare NorthEast by MedAir where the surgeons performed an 8 hour complex open heart surgery. A man who was expected not to make it through the surgery, beat all odds and is making progress by the day! Clint has a long road to recovery and while he recovers the last thing we want him, or his family, to worry about is the expenses that have occurred and will continue to occur!
