I am 56 years old have been diagnosed with Parkinson, cte, and have been battling a parasitic infection in my left foot for more than 3 plus years. Doctors are battling to save my foot and my more recent health issues are 2 pulmonary ambolizemas blood clots in both lungs and a blood clot in left leg. I am also battling mersa sepic. Due to all my health issues I have recently lost my home. My wife and my 14 year old daughter have been homeless and living in the back of my wife's barbershop for 6 months. Recently, with the help from family, I have finally got into a home right after Christmas. My medication is more than 7,000 a month and my insurance won't cover the cost. Also, my insurance only covers for home health care to come in for 3 days a week. For wound care and inminster 2-a-day IV medication into a pick line which leaves my wife to take care of my wounds onn my foot and to inminster my iv medications on the other days which has taken away my wife ability to open and run her barber shop on a consistent basis taking away from are only means of income which has been financially getting worse and has forced her to put her heart condition and health not receiving a pace maker do to a birth defect causing attack accartica and afib. There's no possible way for my wife to cover these medical expenses, even working 7 days a week and our immediate family does not have the funds to continue to help us. The funds are exhausting and has become a extreme burden. I am reaching out for the help of former sport fans, friends, family, and equancance for any and all donations big and small. In return, I can only offer a huge thank you and also offer a 8 by 10 if requested signed of either or hockey or boxing or both photo or can sign any and or all memorabilia on request again a big thank you in advance I also would like to add I've been extremely blessed to have played 2 professional sports,no better feeling of stepping on the ice for a game or entering the boxing ring for a match with the fans chanting Aubrey, Aubrey, Aubrey The fans and kids and players I met were some of the best memories. I would have not changed my path of careers even with all my underlined related health issues. I still feel really blessed to have all the great memory's and for the most loving and supportive family, friends, and fan base. Sincerely Ron The ice man Aubrey and family. P.S if anyone is not familiar to cte take the time to watch the movie concussion starring Will Smith it will enlighten and give you more insight on just one of my mini medical diagnosis and also no disrespect to anybody that has cte. I said in a joking manner when watching this movie that this was me,
I just don't beat my wife and I haven't committed suicide yet. I'm a big jokster and always try to find good humor even at the darkest or gloomest situations. Thank you again for taking the time to read my story any and all donations will be appreciated by myself and my family.
