Medical Equipment for Abby Fuller
Donation protected
The money raised from this GoFundMe would allow Abigail Fuller to have vital access to a Hi Low Chair that she and her parents desperately need.
Abigail Fuller is a sweet little girl living in Las Vegas with her big sister Ella and mom and dad. Abby happens to have Cerebral Palsy. She fought her way out of the NICU for 64 days after tragically losing her twin sister Amelie at birth and has been a fighter and inspiration since the day she was born.
Her parents, Ashley and Aaron Fuller are professional musicians in the Las Vegas area and have showed tremendous strength throughout their journey. Since losing Amelie and later receiving Abby's diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy, they have publicly advocated for their daughters and have used music as a platform to support many other parents going through grief and trauma after losing a child as well as the grief that often accompanies raising a child with unique needs .
Caring for a child with cerebral palsy is full of therapies like feeding, PT, OT, Speech Therapy, as well as secondary medical conditions related to Cerebral Palsy. Due to Covid-19, most of these therapies are now the responsibility of the parent at home. The physical toll of caring for a child with cerebral palsy can be strenuous. Abby is held by her parents the majority of the day due to her physical condition. With added therapy responsibilities and no "time off," the physical toll has been more than overwhelming on her parents.
There is a special Hi Low Chair that would relieve this physical exhaustion, but this piece of equipment is incredibly expensive. Due to Covid-19 shutdowns, both Ashley and Aaron have lost their sources of income along with the rest of the entertainment industry.
Abby is a blessing and a gift and deserves every opportunity to be as mobile as possible, and this would allow her to thrive in a position that supports not only her little body, but her parents' bodies as well. This would give them a much needed break from holding her at all times.
