medical emergency-brain surgery for Caitlin

So, a very sad update about my dearest foster daughter Caitlin : after the eventful birth of her baby and the worries for his survival, her seizures, caused by the Focal Cortical Dysplasia, got more frequent and violent. After each seizure she can’t get herself up out of bed, form a sentence, or remember her children’s faces. Dr. Ferguson at Providence has given the devastating news: there is need for immediate admission to the hospital, and brain surgery! Caitlin is being admitted this week to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, to be followed by surgery, two weeks later! While hopeful for a resolution to the seizures, we are stunned and worried to death! Husband Victor has been heroically sharing his time between vigilantly monitoring Caitlin, and constantly caring for their new baby and the children. As requested by the hospital, he must continue to be by her side during this medical challenge, in addition to the household responsibilities and care of the children . This will make it impossible for him to return to work as planned, and the paternity income has been exhausted....so, this young family of five has zero income, during the most difficult, dangerous , and challenging time, with no assurances of a future and hopefully a better life. The sheer tragedy of their survival is up to everybody's humanity and gracious support now. Please, if you feel in your heart the magnitude of this tragedy, consider helping this family to overcome and survive thru this fearfull life passage and unknown future, that will affect five lives..Please, dont leave them alone...we are all praying, while frozen by fear..so, i just want to thank you from the heart, for all your prayers , words of courage , and generocity.
