Hello All,This is Heidi, CJ's wife. CJ had a contract job for 10 weeks in St Thomas, he is 3 weeks into that contract and fell severely ill. He is currently in the ICU intubated. They are having a job of keeping him stable. Some of the items we know to be going on at the moment are: DKA, septic, pneumonia, dehydration and low blood pressure. At the moment, they aren't allowing people into the hospital there due to covid protocols, but I have asked for a variance and we are waiting to see if it will be approved by hospital administration. He is literally all alone in St Thomas (Us Virgin Islands). I have made arrangements to find someone to watch our 3 year old and I have a friend who will help with airline tickets, so I am just waiting for the OK to go out there.
