Hi, everyone! We had an unexpected medical emergency Saturday, July 19th, near midnight. My water broke suddenly at 28 weeks pregnant. I was then airlifted to Rochester, MN, to get the care that baby and I so deeply need.

We’re currently stuck in the Rochester MN hospital until I hit 34 weeks or until baby girl wants to come, and that could be between now and 6 weeks. When baby girl does decide to come, she has to stay in the highest level NICU here to get the care she needs until at least her due date, which is in October or even more, depending on how she’s doing.

Unfortunately, in this hard time, my boyfriend Carter and I both do not get paid maternity leave. We had to up and leave our home, and we have a mortgage and many things to pay for. The least of our worries right now are our bills that need to be paid. We absolutely hate asking for help, but in this time we definitely need it. We appreciate every single one of you.
