Medical & Emergency Services for Isaiah Figueroa

Recently Isaiah, my daughter's (Avayah) dad, was involved in what could have been a fatal accident. He was hit by a drunk driver and was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery due to severe injuries. His spleen was ruptured on impact, his stomach was perforated, his liver was lacerated, suffered a lung contusion along with multiple fractures in his skull, spine, ribs, and hip. He underwent a splenectomy and was in and out of surgeries and procedures for the first couple of weeks. Every day was something new. Although it's been extremely overwhelming for all of us, we had many reasons to remain optimistic.

 

After a long turbulent month in the hospital he is now transferred to a rehabilitation facility where he will start recovering and getting the appropriate help to regain independence. He has not been able to see his daughter, yet alone hold her and truly misses her. It's been devastating physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially for him, his family, and all of his loved ones.

 

Isaiah is on an aggressive treatment plan and is unable to work for an extended period of time. Every day is unpredictable and each and every second is extremely valuable. After suffering this life-changing event with multiple traumatic injuries we are praying for an isolated road to recovery.
