Hello dear friends,

My name is Audrey Herbst. I am writing this on behalf of my dear sister, Jennifer Mickle, who is 53 years young and loved very much by her family and extended family. She is a wonderful and loving sister, daughter, wife, grandma, aunt, friend to many, and also to animals. She has always spent her time caring for others. Now, she is in a time of challenge and great need. Any help you can provide to her is greatly appreciated.

On March of 2023, doctors discovered what appeared to be a mass and a nodule in Jennifer's lung. After many procedures to determine malignancy and a change in doctors, she was tranferred to Ascension Via Christi (St. Francis) Regional Medical Center on June 16, 2023. Since her arrival she has had to deal with many unknowns and remains in the Medical ICU without a definitive diagnosis. She has suffered through a great deal of pain, her brain swelling, Pericarditis, low blood pressure, a low heart rate, and now her kidneys are not functioning. The doctors and nurses are working very hard to determine the cause of all of this, but her condition remains a mystery as of today, June 21, 2023. She has had to undergo two rounds of Dialysis and the doctors still cannot rule out cancer, an aggressive infection and what type, or if she has a rare autoimmune disorder, or a combination of the above.

We are asking for prayers, good vibes, encouragement or positivity you can pass along to Jennifer, my dear sister. If you are able to give a monetary donation, any help you could assist with during her time of great need while she remains hospitalized would be appreciated.
