My mother Naira is 48 years old. A few months ago, after a sharp deterioration in her well-being, we sought medical help. Performing a series of medical examinations (CT, Angiography, APC, BK...) an elongated brain aneurysm was diagnosed, which can rupture at any time. A rupture can result in severe problems, up to and including death. Neurosurgeon Sevak Badalyan urged for immediate surgery. I should mention that the operation itself is very expensive, 4 million Armenian Dram (roughly 10,000 USD). Which is a huge and unaffordable amount for our family, and no government support is provided. The fact of my mother's 3rd degree disability is not taken into account, even my father's 2nd degree disability (he lost his leg volunteering in the Artsakh war in 1992 at 19 years old) is disregarded.

At this moment we already raised 1.3 million Armenian Dram from friends and family in Armenia.

According to the doctor's instructions, the operation should have been performed immediately, as every day the risk of a rupture happening increases.
