Medical Emergency: Help Rose and Rhett Through Ruff Times

Hi everyone,

If you know Rose, you know that she is always looking for ways to help others. (Just recently she raised money to help a family in Haiti build a much needed bathroom.) She pretty much always looks for ways to brighten peoples lives and support them through challenges, even people she doesn't know well.

Well, now she needs some help.

Last week, her precious companion Rhett unexpectedly became seriously ill.

Due to an unknown toxin, he became lethargic and heavily panting and couldn't stop throwing up, eventually throwing up blood. It really was so scary and so hard to watch such a sweet and innocent creature not understand what was happening. Just as hard for Rose to have to leave him at the ER overnight for more than four nights. He's still there now :(

We all know medical bills for humans can pile up so quickly. Well, the same is true for animals. And while some might say "it's just a dog," I trust that if you have ever had a beloved pet in your life, you know that they are more than some "just anything" that you can dismiss.

And Rhett, especially, is so loving and gentle and came into Rose's life when she needed him most.

We understand that this is a lofty goal, but the number is a reality, with bills already upwards of $20,000 and no clear end in sight at the moment.

This isn't something Rose and her family were financially prepared for (how many of us would be?).

So, if you have $5, $20, $50, $100... really any amount to spare, I promise you, it all adds up. Anyone who knows and cares about Rose knows she would go to bat for you and your animals any day if you needed it.

Let's see if we can help her ensure Rhett gets through this and gets back to his healthy, happy self.
