Medical Emergency for Jeremy Milton

From Jennifer's own words:
"On June 18th, our world was changed. Jeremy woke me seizing at about 4:30 Saturday morning. I immediately cried out for Jesus, and the Holy Spirit guided me from then on. I called the ambulance and by the time we were at the hospital, Jeremy had 3 major seizures. These seizures came from a mass found on his brain which is 5x3 cm in size. The neurosurgeon assumes this mass has been there for some time. Tumors are rated from a 1 to 4 with 1 being the least in severity and 4 being the most. Jeremy's mass appears to be a level 2. These 3 major seizures caused injury to his kidneys which landed him a 5 day stay in the hospital. Thankfully his kidneys have improved and are getting better every day. Jeremy will be meeting with his neurosurgeon July 7th to prepare for brain surgery July 22nd. His doctor suggests that recovery will be at least a month. We will know more about what the mass is after pathology tests the mass upon extraction. He has a long road ahead filled with unknowns but God is already there just as He is with us now. Jeremy has new medications, doctors, and limitations with what he can do. We have two very supportive girls ages 14 and 8. God has set supportive people in our lives who are encouraging and prayerful for which we are beyond grateful. Words can never convey our gratitude. During this trial and after, we want to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit in what it is we should learn, grow in, and be strengthened in, as well as what to do for the kingdom of God. We are trusting in God for His provision and are earnestly listening for His voice. We are trusting that this is only a season that will pass and that there will be no long-term disability. We are also trusting for healing that is complete and whole. We are looking for this to be a testimony that will reach a lost one, even if it's just one. God is good and we are anticipating His wondrous works."
Jeremy's place of employment has been very supportive and gracious these past weeks, and Jeremy is looking forward to the day he will return to a full weekly schedule. Jeremy and Jennifer both serve at LIFEchurch in Dacusville, SC along with their awesome daughters. Teaching Sunday School, helping lead worship on occasion, and assisting with the weekly youth group are just a few of their ministries at LIFEchurch. Please also keep Jennifer's mother in your prayers. She is dealing with a serious illness at this time and needs Jennifer's help as well. Any assistance that you can give to this wonderful couple is very much appreciated by all of us! May the Good Lord Bless YOU! Thank you, Chris & Sharon Griffin
