Medical Emergency Expenses for the Frick Family

Hi all, my name is Kelsi. Billie helped me in an emergent time of need last year and I would like to help her and her family during this unexpected time of need.

if you know the Frick family, you know that they are very loving, caring and “drop everything and help” kind of folks. This past Friday, January 27th, 2023, Shawn, a loving father of 3 and Paw to a little granddaughter, woke up his wife Billie due to not feeling well and feeling ‘off’. Shawn was taken to HRH by ambulance , where he was then airlifted to the University of Columbia Hospital. It was there that it was discovered Shawn suffered from a stroke that has affected the left side of his body. Shawn had emergency surgery to remove the clot on his brain. It is very likely that Shawn will need another surgery this coming Monday or Tuesday to have a stent inserted to open the artery more, as it is very narrow. Shawn has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. It is very likely that occupational and physical therapy will be needed as a part of his recovery plan. Billie and a lot of family of Shawn reside in Hannibal or quite a ways away from Columbia, MO. As you know, unexpected medical emergencies call for unexpected expenses. If you are able to donate $1, $5, $10..anything, to help with lodging, food, gas and medical expenses-I know that the Frick family would be so very appreciative and thankful for any help.
