For 2-1/2 years Brian Hunter has been battling cancer. His first battle included targeted radiation therapy of the head and neck with an agreessive chemotherapy regiment every day for 44 days. This treatment necessitated a G-tube (a feeding tube), as the radiation left his jaw and throat area with grade 3 burns from the inside and out, rendering it impossible to eat. "Ringing the bell" when the 44 days concluded was such a huge victory but devastingly the cancer moved. With months more of chemotherapy and an amazing care team at Princess Margaret the cancer has been stabilized to one area. Thankfully with the on going immunotherapy treatments, the remaining cancer is actually shrinking and confined to one area. Cancer definitely picked the wrong guy! It surely didn't count on Hunter's resilient manner and determination to live another day.

The result of the targeted radiation on Hunter's head and neck area successfully removed the cancer from that area, but resulted in the deterioration of his lower jaw bone and the disintegration of all of his teeth. This has made eating actual food non existent. He is still is sadly still 100% G-tube dependant.

The specialists at Princess Margaret Hospital have made a plan to help Hunter. Although there are complications, to put it simply, they plan to extract all remaining corroded, jagged edged teeth that are daily causing him so much pain and replace with a full set of dentures.

Sadly, after exhausting all availble resources and benefits, etc., we are left well short of the expense necessary to cover the extensive dental work and surgery needed. Work that is scheduled to begin at the end of February 2026.

Hunter has fought that tremendous battle with cancer with such determination, with the will to be here with all of us for another day. He continues to fight each day, and every day with a smile on his face. Every day refusing to let cancer win. His one desire since this all began, is to eat a proper meal with his family, to grab that fork and knife we take for granted, and taste the different flavors we all enjoy. To get together with the guys and have wings and pizza.

Your help would allow the specialists to get started on the reconstruction of Brian's mouth and get the feeding tube removed so that he can finally eat food again.

Please help us get our warrior to fulfill that wish after all that he has been through.

Thank you ... may God bless you
