Hi, my name is Amira. 5 months ago I started having pain and seeing doctors for it. Misdiagnosed twice, with temporary relief, brought me through the rest of the summer, while I was running a camp from my home. At the same time, we were planning to move to another country (Israel) and packing up our house, selling furniture and making multiple trips to Goodwill. By the time our lift came, my pain was barely manageable and somehow I got through the move. We then moved into my parents place which was supposed to be for a week or 2 until we moved. My husband and I both were unemployed at this point , as we would be interviewing for new jobs when we moved. But then, I got an injection which was supposed to help but 2 days later I was in such pain with new spasms and agony, I now believe it was caused by the injection. The spasms did not let up, they got worse until I ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks, undergoing tests and pain management. Since then, I have seen many doctors who cannot give me a clear diagnosis. We have found an apartment, and are trying to homeschool our kids while continuing to find the right diagnosis and doctor. Even with the little bit of help we are getting here, and his job, it doesn't cover rent, groceries, copays, and fees for our kids for school and our lift. My husband has thank G-d found a job. My pain has gone up and down while waiting to see a new neurosurgeon, and lately my pain has increased quite a bit..

As uncomfortable as it is to ask people for help, at this point, we are continuing to, it is to cover medical bills, our lift ( which is currently sitting in a warehouse in NJ but we have to make a payment towards it) and other expenses our family has, which my husband's job and my new part time job cannot cover.
