I am Angela Hawkins-Bell and I am asking for assistance on behalf of my brother, Sheldon (Hawk) Hawkins. Sheldon suffered a hemorrhagic stroke October 2022 and has been hospitalized since. Sheldon lives in California, and I am in Missouri, so I and the family have traveled back

and forth to oversee his care for the past year.

As we prepare to find placement for Sheldon's continued road to healing and recovery, we feel it is in his best interest to be near family and friends. As Sheldon is too ill to travel by car or commercial air, an air medical evacuation (medevac) is required to transport him to Missouri. The cost has been reduced from $50,0000 to $30,000 and will include medical staff, ground transportation to and from the medevac, as well as all medical needs and oxygen during the flight.

Sheldon is our baby brother, and we need him to be home so we can manage his care and provide the support he needs. All donations wil go directly to the costs of the medevac flight.
