Medical Costs: Hollywood Prius Hit and Run Victim

On Thursday, September 25, two different vehicles deliberately plowed into a group peacefully marching in honor of Breonna Taylor in Hollywood, CA. Two marchers were injured in these terrifying and seemingly deliberate attacks. This GoFundMe is for the individual who was run over by the white Toyota Prius. Their foot and leg were crushed.
The medical costs for the ambulance ride, overnight hospitalization and ongoing treatment for their foot and leg will be enormous, not to mention the long-term trauma and recovery process to them because of this violent attack. No amount of money can change what happened, but it can at least lighten the financial burden of these injuries which were a direct result of their dedication to speaking out against police brutality and honoring the tragic murder of Breonna Taylor.
My own name is Precious Child. I am a Los Angeles musician and my band is "Precious Child". I am a BLM Activist and I stream the protests I attend on My YouTube Channel . I was feet away when another one of the protestors was hit and carried on the hood and thrown. It was captured on my own live stream and was as terrifying as it looks and sounds. I almost got hit myself and had to dodge out of the way of the truck. I have protested and streamed alongside the individual hit by the Prius many times and know them well. They are a wonderful humanitarian dedicated to illuminating the injustice in Los Angeles

What happened: A white Prius sped around a turn and drove through the crowd, crushing a protestors foot and leg under its wheels and causing possibly irreparable damage. They are a journalist who has covered these marches and other Black Lives Matter actions regularly for months.
