My dear brother and pastor, Rick Gamache, recently suffered significant head trauma when he fell on the ice and hit his head. These events were severe enough to warrant a few trips to the ER and some time receiving inpatient care. Praise God, Rick is recovering! However, we look now to the impending hospital bills.

As a man who has committed his life to serving the church, the burden of these medical costs is quite heavy. To make matters worse, the injury and first ER visit happened at the end of December, while subsequent hospital visits have occurred in January. With deductibles reset, these out of pocket costs will prove to be far higher than if this event had occurred in just one year.

I know Rick would remind us that God is in control and is orchestrating even this for the good of him and his family (and this is one of many reasons why I love this dear friend of mine). I know God will provide for Rick and his family because God is faithful.
