In an act of senseless violence, Leticia Ruiz was stabbed on November 20th at around 11pm, as she was arriving home in Santa Rosa, from work.  Ms. Ruiz was taken to a local hospital immediately and had to undergo surgery.  She is in the ICU and expected to recover.  Sadly, Ms. Ruiz who was attempting to provide for her children will not be able to work until she heals.  There will be medical bills, as well as rent and other needs.  I am organizing this gofundme with the permission of her daughter who has been with her mother since the incident. 

We don't know who the attacker is or why he committed the crime. 

My name is Rafael Vazquez and I have had the pleasure to know the family for over 8 years.  We will keep you updated on her condition, but call on the community to support the family.


En un acto de violencia, la señora Leticia Ruiz fue apuñalada el 20 de noviembre mas o menos a las 11pm.  Ella fue transladada a un hospital local y fue hospitalizada immediatamente ya que tuvo que recibir cirugia.  Ella esta en cuidados intensivos y con alta posibilidad de recuperarse.  Desfortunadamente, la Sra. Ruiz quien trabaja duro para proveer para sus hijas, no podra trabajar hasta que se recupere.  Habra costos medicos y otras necesidades como renta, comida, etc.  Estoy organizando esta recaudacion de fondos con el permiso de su hija que ha estado con su mamá desde que fue victima de este crimen.

No sabemos quien es el atacante y porque cometio este crimen.
