We, friends of Teddy Blaine Remata, would like to help him raise funds for his Mom's hospital bills in the Philippines. 

As you all know, Teddy's journey in Canada hasn't been easy. He started as a TFW then transitioned to becoming a Permanent Resident with the help of his better half, Ardy Dianco.  Teddy is the sole breadwinner of his family.

A year ago, his mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. He juggled 3 jobs last year to be able to send money and provide for his mom's treatments. Fortunately, his mom was declared cancer-free after completing a series of treatments. 

Fast forward to February 17, 2019. On that day, Teddy received a message from his siblings that his mom was rushed to the nearest Emergency. Her CERVICAL CANCER came back and was at the end stage. It METASTASIZED TO HER KIDNEYS AND LUNGS. Also, she had a series of complications that resulted in putting in a MECHANICAL VENT to keep her ALIVE. From that day, she stayed at the ICU until March 4, 2019 and was moved to the ward right after.  

Teddy, being the sole source of financial support and decision maker,  decided to sign a DNR due to poor PROGNOSIS and FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS. 

During her stay in the hospital, their bill racked up to about 353,000 PES0S (about $9,000 CAD) and they were ONLY able to pay about 135,000 PESOS (ABOUT $3,500 CAD) to bring the balance down to about 215,000 PESOS (about 5,500 CAD). This is yet to increase until her mom's discharge. 

As friends, we collectively agreed, to knock in your pure hearts and raise as much as we can, to help out our FRIEND IN NEED. Anything helps, including prayers.
